It was the 1st CCF Tournament in Kolkata below elo 2000. My rating was 1938 seeded number 5 at the start. My opponent was a talented young boy Kaustuv Kundu(1923) from West Bengal who I had won a game against him while I was unrated in the sicilian dragon. The game was 90 mins without increment. He arrived at 68 mins left and started moving fast. A man who looked like a coach approached me and said that my opponent will not arrive because he had gone to play against Anand(simul).
It was a lie of course because my opponent arrived and sat in front of me for the second time as black. I was expecting dragon variation again it happened. In the opening I played the computer moves so did he too but I was pressing. My computer evaluation even reach 1.2 but through some crazy series of moves I got difficult position and eventually my queen was trapped. I resign.
